My name is Hoschi. At least people used to call me that for a very long time now, so let’s stick with it. Born in the early 70’s in Germany, i currently live and work in New York City and find myself spending alot of time playing Aion – and Guild Wars before that.
You can find me on Zikel Server – at least for the moment. Most of the times, i’m also on my own Ventrilo – hoschi.darkstarvent.com:28741 – which is only partly open to the public
So. I wonder how many other people are playing on Alts ? Especially the double-XP weekend strongly promote levelling alternate characters. Remember you get the Daevination Armor (+Weapon) Set, one piece per character on Level 30 ? So that’s a good reason to get at least 4 alts up to that Level. Then you can swap it around and the the Daevination Weapons as well…
Facepalm
Welcome to the 50’s my dear little templar. You’ve been known as “Lastcry” as well as “Yippikiyay” and killed a few Asmos in your time – and got killed by a few as well when I didn’t pay attention. It’s fun after all
Lost
my little ranger came next. Intended for ganking and rifting, i got him to level 31 and he’s running around wearing the daeve set pieces i have so far. It’s a different playstyle and i’m not sure if i get used to it, but definately a character to dish out some damage. Will probably work on getting enough AP for the basic Level 30 Gold Abyss gear and then some. Not sure how far i want to take the ranger, though.
Dwaia

is one of my older characters, but i never really played her until recently. She’s another twink for our rifting actions, so depending on our groups’ needs i can roll a chanter or ranger. Her name is blatantly taken from David Eddings – Redemption of Althalus. I love that book, so go ahead and read it. She’s close to level 301now and will probably not see anything beyond 35 for some time to come. The usual fate of a twink character.
Shockz
this little gladiator (or badiator as some people come to call them) is my latest toon. I’m slow to level him, but he’s the next one in line to hit 30 in order to complete the Daeva set – currently sitting close to level 30…
my latest toon. He’s sitting around at a low level right now, but i think i might have to kick his ass from time to time. Don’t you think ?
Hosch, a Sorcerer, but i didn’t really play her too much. Not sure if i ever will, probably on a double-XP weekend push her up into 25 Range for Training Camp and leave it at that.
Toysrus is a Spiritmaster intended to be parked in a convenient location to Summon people. So she’ll probably never see a level beyond 25, unless i am really bored
So. A whole family. However, i think the levelling progress will be rather small on these characters, as i will go back an concentrate on my main Cleric – it’s what i do best.
However, there is one additional advantage you get out of playing other classs – you get to know them better and learn their pros/cons and how to deal with them. Helps alot for your main class, so i can only recommend doing that.
